as of dec 16 2022, 48 students of UP Diliman are not yet finished with their thesis

you may notice, that after offices have already closed for the COVID-19 quarantine, declared around February of the year 2020, there may still be young folks who are still interested in things like making it to the top of their game. or just making it to the top.

actually, these kinds of things may be the sentiment of students in high school, perhaps earning milestones thru out their life, but 8 students from Philippine Science High School in the year 2009 are earning up everything they can to have a proper wedding. in the year 2013, they went on air in a self-hosted Reality Television Programme called “I Do”: a race to getting a national-sized wedding ceremony.

the thing is, there are also some students in the University of the Philippines Diliman who are also involved in the network of friends or classmates of the 8PisayStudents who still haven’t finished their thesis (or some other major school requirements)

the problem is that…if thru-out their lives these students are really tempted or lured by the worldly race to the top of their fields, then they are booking themselves for a somewhat bumpy or troublesome ride downwards.

now, some people like the Folk of Pangasinan are speculating that they might not be coming down anymore from their position…and they might stay stuck in a cycle of exciting new things that life has to offer: “high school, prom, university, thesis, graduation” and whatnot. the higher school’s life seems to be the most tempting kind of life that the world really has: dead in the middle of life’s cycle, these 48 mentioned students really could not help but be involved in feeling bigger than they were before.
